A synergic approach in surgery and diagnostic
SIFI MedTech develops, manufactures and markets surgical equipment and diagnostic instruments.
The close integration between surgical and diagnostic aims primarily to create solutions that improve standard treatments for patients through a synergic approach including research and development, manufacturing technologies and marketing.
A first concrete result of such a philosophy is Waterfall research project.
The ultimate goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of cataract patients, through the development of a complete system of disease management allowing diagnosis and the subsequent customisation of surgical treatment.
The creation of MIRA®, new generation of intraocular lenses for cataract surgery is a first tangible achievement of the project.
